Why Use an Image Palette?
Colors found in a photograph, illustration, or reference image can be a practical starting point for a design. An extracted palette helps preserve the visual relationships in that source while making its colors easy to reuse.
Use an image palette as inspiration for branding, web and UI design, graphic design, social media graphics, interiors, presentations, or photography-led projects.
Tips for Better Results
- Choose images with clearly distinguishable colors.
- Images with varied colors usually create more diverse palettes.
- Good lighting helps preserve natural color relationships.
- Very monochromatic images may produce similar shades.
- Crop an image around the area you care about before selecting it to help focus the resulting palette.
Your Image Stays on Your Device
Image processing happens locally in your browser. The selected image is not uploaded to or stored by Paletile; only your browser performs the color extraction.
